The world can have better products
We have gone through multiple cycles of product design and development in our prior roles. An intuitive, user-friendly product that is visually appealing takes a lot of iterations. All the iterations driven by user feedback add up to the time and effort required to build a great product. Many do not go through this process and end up shipping a subpar product.
The world will be a better place if software solutions just work as intended and are a joy to use.
There is satisfaction in solving tough problems
Teaching a model how to design good products is a tough problem. Good design is highly subjective, and products are generally very complex. Software products have finer nuances, with multiple states, deep information architectures, and user journeys. It is not just about designing one disconnected UI screen but creating an interconnected experience that fulfils a goal.
Inherently, all of us at Figr are problem solvers. We love tackling tough problems.
Anyone should be able to build good products
Ideation and then design are the initial steps of the product building process. Developing it and making it fully functional requires diverse range of skills. Getting it ready to be shipped to users demands craftsmanship.
In the coming years, Figr can go beyond design to developing products. We’d be proud to enable people make great products.
